Sebastien Labarre
Sebastien joined JMC in May 2016. He is responsible for due diligence support, market research and financial analysis on deals. In addition he provides research and business support to all of JMC’s portfolio companies.
Prior to JMC, Sebastien spent five years in China, during which he gained international business experience and mastered advanced Mandarin Chinese. While in China he worked for the USA Pavilion at the World Expo in Shanghai, the online analytics firm Gridsum and later founded an English language training center.
Sebastien holds a Masters in International Affairs from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs, and a Bachelors in Economics and Chinese from Trinity University. In his free time he enjoys writing, learning new languages and eating good food.
