Jean-Marie Painvin is Founder and CEO of JMC Family Office since 2012 and acted previously as Chairman of the Board and CEO of Deutsch Group, the world leader in high-performance connectors with a presence in more than 25 countries and over 3.500 employees. In 2011, Deutsch Group achieved sales of around $680m.

Jean-Marie was instrumental in growing Deutsch into the world-class and global business that it is today. He integrated three largely autonomous companies into one worldwide company, expanding overseas and developing a blue chip client base, as well as successfully navigating through the economic turmoil following the 2008 financial crisis. In April 2012, nearly six years after the successful sale of the Deutsch Group to Wendel, Deutsch was sold for $2.1 billion to TE Connectivity.

Jean-Marie is a board member of Summer Search, a US philanthropic organization working with low-income high school students for the last 25 years.

Jean-Marie graduated from Rice University, receiving a master’s degree in mechanical engineering. He serves as a director on various boards, including Parrot SA; JTI a service provider for engineering and construction market; Si02 an Industrial Company in the Pharmaceutical industry; Ode à La Rose same day delivery florist in the North East of United States, JMC Investment in Private equity and Asset Management in US equity long only.

Jean-Marie is a keen golfer and is a member of Piping Rock Golf and Country Club in New York and has chaired Golf du Medoc in France for 7 years.

Jean-Marie lives in New York City with his wife Carlota Seydoux and has 6 children and 4 grandchildren.
